NOTES
Today has been a cloudy day with a high temperature of 77 degrees and a low temperature of 61 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I came by the post office for my mail and then I went by Braum's for a bag of oranges. I had my nap in early afternoon. Three cats were sleeping with me most of the time, Little Girl, Smokey and Tony. Around 4:30 p.m. I went to the cemetery and then came by Little Caesars for a pizza. I had part of the pizza for my supper and will have the rest tomorrow. I sat out with the cats for 30 minutes or more. It was real nice outside this evening. This is Saturday night. Back in the 1940's during World War II when all of the young boys and men were in service there was a popular song titled "Saturday Night Is The Loneliest Night In The Week." I guess you might sing that song about we people that have lost our wives or husbands. I do have my cats to keep me company.
Since the last Good Things I have heard from Michelle, Gail and Burlene. Gail has had a busy week and didn't know the Good Things were back. She had been working at the county fair last week and had her granddaughter this week. She hadn't checked her e-mail until today and was happy to see the Good Things back. Gail uses parts of the Good Things on her church marquee. I think the Lord wanted me to start the Good Things again so maybe that is why he is keeping me here.
The cats are fine. All of my cats love me and anytime they come around me they have to let me know they are near and of course they always get some attention from me. I really don't know how I could make it without my cats. It would really be a lonely Saturday night without them.
Have a Wonderful Sunday!
I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
