GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? - 1 John 5:4-5(New King James Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. - Galatians 5:4-5(New King James Version).

FUN THOUGHTS ABOUT CATS
Claim the bed early in the evening. No human wants to disturb a curled-up, sleeping cat. - From Cats Rule -
If you're a kitten, anything goes! - From Cats Rule -

NOTES
Today has been another hot day in McAlester, Oklahoma but not as hot as yesterday. High temperature today was 97 degrees with a low temperature of 73 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I went to Country Mart briefly, then to the post office and then to Braums before coming home. I took my afternoon nap in my cool bedroom(thank you Lord for air conditioning and I really mean that). I watched the Jimmy Sturr musical show at 6:00 p.m. At about 6:40 p.m. I took fresh water and treats outside for the cats. Of course the cats can come in any time they wish but they expect to get their treats outside every evening. I do really appreciate those e-mails if you have time to write, no matter if you just want to say "Howdy" and that includes everyone reading this e-mail. More pictures tonight.
The cats are fine. Rascal was in a little while ago, Little Girl was in a little while ago, Leo just came in and meowed and that meant I needed to go give him a bite of canned cat food. Lucy came inside in the middle of the afternoon and ate canned and dryed cat food. She left out and was not there for the treats as she usually is.
I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
