Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
23 Love the Lord, all his faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full. - Psalm 31:23(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. - Psalm 103:8-10(New International Version).

A QUOTE
A man can accept what Christ has done without knowing how it works: indeed, he certainly won't know how it works until he's accepted it. - C. S. Lewis -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER
Only a child can see any value in rain puddles. - From Home is Where the Heart Is -

NOTES
We had a thunderstorm this morning that lasted less than 2 hours but it dumped one and four tenths inches of rain into my rain gauge. We had another little rain shower around 6:00 p.m. The rest of the day has been partly cloudy. High temperature today has been 81 degrees and the low has been 61 degrees. I had lunch with Bill today. Charley attended a funeral today of a lady from his church. I came by the post office and then home. I had a nap this afternoon with Rascal. I put some treats outside for the cats around 7:00 p.m. after the rain shower had gone by. Tomorrow is May 1 and it might be time to stop the Good Things but I like to send out the Scripture Verses every day so I will probably continue the Good Things until I am not able to do them any more. Sometimes I wonder if my notes are just ramblings from a senile old man but some people seem to like them. I do appreciate hearing from you.
The cats are fine. Rascal is lying on the desk close to me. Tony from across the street is also on the desk eating some food. This is the second time he has been over. Little Girl is asleep on the sofa. Beau and Emmy were here a little while ago. The others have all been seen this evening.
I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
