Good Things
by E. Christian, McAlester, OKSunday, March 25, 2012
GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD,br /> (Jesus said) 38 "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” - Luke 6:38(New King James Version).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. - Hebrews 13:8(New King James Version).
A QUOTE
If God sends us on stony paths, He provides strong shoes. - Corrie ten Boom -
A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER
Usually parents who are lucky in the kind of children they have, have children who are lucky in the kind of parents they have. - From Home is Where The Heart Is -
NOTES
Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 81 degrees and a low temperature of 47 degrees. I attended Worship Services this morning. Gaetano Franzese, a minister in our church, preached for us this morning. Pastor J. T. was there but he has bad throat problem. Gaetano did an excellent job of bringing the message. I had lunch at home. I took a couple of naps this afternoon. Rascal checked on me but didn't nap with me. I didn't attend church tonight. It was fellowship night and I like to fellowship but I decided to stay home. At 6:00 p.m. I sat outside with the cats and read for about an hour. I then had a bite to eat and then put out the garbage for pick up in morning and then to the Good Things. I do appreciate your e-mails.
The cats are fine. Little Girl is in the den with me and Rascal was here a little while ago and he will be back. I have seen all 8 of my cats this evening and my little stray cat named Lucy. Something has happened to the old stray Siamese Tom Cat that had been here several years. I always had food out for him so I know he didn't starve. Have a good Monday and I will see you next time!
In Christian Love, Everett.
