GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:11-13(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7(New International Version).

NOTES
The day started cloudy but soon turned out to be a cool sunny day. High temperature was 59 degrees. Low temperature this morning was 42 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. Bobbi was our waitress today. I went to the post office and then on to Walmart and the Petsense store. I took my nap this afternoon. At 5:30 p.m. I put out treats and food for the kitties in the back yard. My cats like to eat their treats outside in the back yard. They usually come inside for their regular food. Other cats or animals always eat the food that I put outside before morning. At 6:00 p.m. I watched a Billy Graham Crusade service that took place in Denver, Colorado in 1987. Billy Graham was 69 years old that year. For those who don't care for my notes, I tried leaving them out of the Good Things once but I heard from people wanting the notes to stay so that is why you hear about this old man every day. It would be nice if some of you would tell me what you do with your time and then this wouldn't be a one way street.
The cats are fine. As usual, Little Girl is on the back of the couch and Rascal is in the recliner. The others are accounted for.
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett.
