Good Things

by Everett Christian, McAlester, OK

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD.
14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” - Psalm 91:14-16(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. - James 1:2-4(New International Version).

A QUOTE
Thank God for what you have. - Dr. Steve Stephens -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Blessed are those who give without remembering and take without forgetting. - From Reminisce Magazine - Wear a smile and have friends; wear a scowl and have wrinkles. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES
Today has been a sunny day in McAlester, Oklahoma, with a high temperature of 75 degrees. I had lunch with Charley, then to the post office and then to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. I had a nap in early afternoon. Shortly after 4:00 p.m. I went to Walmart, Staples and the Petsense store. I went outside with the cats at 6:00 p.m., read until it was too dim to read about 6:40. I continued to sit with the cats until 7:00 p.m. When I go outside in the evening with their treats they all follow along with me. I am still trying to learn Windows 7 but it is a slow process for me.
The cats are fine. Little Girl is on the back of the couch. Leo just came through the den. Rascal just came in and is sitting on the desk near me. They have all been accounted for.
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett.
