A Meditation on John’s Gospel Chapter 15 and 16

A  Meditation on John’s Gospel Chapter 15 and 16

You cannot be for God if you are against Christ, his annointed one; for Jesus’s words quoted from John’s Gospel 15:23 states Anyone who hates me hates my Father too.

But, how can we be happy in a world where there is so much hate manifested, where sad things and bad things happen to us; and how do we love a God who allows these things to happen to us?

Jesus said your grief will turn to wonderful joy when you see me again Jn16:20.

To remain in the promise of the resurrected Lord, therein lies our joy; through fellowship among us, as christians who believe in Christ Jesus.

And yet again, Jesus promised us I have already overcome the world Jn 16:33

An always timely reminder and earnest expectation of the hope that is within us as Christians.
