Good Things

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. - Psalm 145:9(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
(The Apostle Paul wrote) 38 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39(New International Version)

A QUOTE
Worship involves actions as well as attitudes. - Jim Edlin -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
An echo may be accurate, but it doesn't tell you anything new. - From Reminisce Magazine - It takes two to speak the truth - one to speak, another to hear. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES
I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office. I took my afternoon nap. At around 4:15 p.m. I made another trip to the post office to mail a letter. At 6:00 p.m. I went to the funeral home to visit with O. V. McNutt's family and friends. I got back home a little after 7:00 p.m. and put out treats and food outside for the animals. The picture tonight is Smokey. Isn't that a good picture of Smokey? I almost didn't do the Good Things tonight because I am a little tired. Then I thought that someone might be just waiting for something that I include in the Good Things tonight. There are just a few people that I never hear from so I don't know if they read them or not. If I don't hear from them in the next 7 days I may drop them off. The cats are fine. I have seen them all this evening. I thought we had seen the last of three digit temperatures this year but today the temperature soared to 104 degrees here in McAlester. Cooler weather is coming in a day or two. Low temperature last night was 79 degrees. At 9:40 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 93 degrees. I will see you next time,
In Christian Love, Everett.
