Seven to Heaven

in order to get to heaven

realize the importance of the seven

1) these seven can not be waived

we all need to be saved

2) ourselves we can not save

no matter if we're weak or brave

3) in and through Christ is our salvation

for us, he suffered terrible trial and tribulation

4) believe in your own heart Jesus was raised from the dead

go to your bible, believe what was said

5) now is the day of salvation

as you believe - accept God's invitation

6) there will still be temptation

trials, suffering and tribulation

7) once a sinner  - now born again

be born again ?.....yes you can!

1) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

2) Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  John 14:6

3) For God so loved the world that he have his one and only son, that who ever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:16

4) That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  Romans 10:9-10

5) As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.  For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you and in the day of salvation I helped you."  I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.  II Corinthians 6:1-2

6) Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.  Hebrews 2:18

7) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.  John 1:12-13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13

About the Poet
I grew up in rural North Carolina, married for 38 years to my best friend and soulmate, Allen, who retired almost 17 years ago from the Air Force after 24 years of service to our beloved America. We have a daughter, Ashley ( and son-in-law, Kris) and, a son, John, and, our two beautiful grand daughters, Amelia and Haley, and Isaac, our only grandson, all blessings from God. We have four cats; Mr. Peabody, Missy, aka Middle Kitty and Tabby, aka Little Kitty, and Gracie. I've seen a lot of hard times and God has always been here for me to see me through them. I am a vessel God can use to help others in need. If I could be described in one word, it would be that I am an encourager.
