Sunrises

Be up early some morning, to watch the sun come up.
It'll wake you up for sure, the sun rays shining thru.
If you want to see a beautiful sunrise, be sure to see
it when the sun is red. Everything looks so fresh and
crisp early in the mornings, as the sun comes out.

Be up early some morning, to watch the sun come up.
If you can remember, grab your camera and take a
picture of a red sunrise. You will be amazed at
the beautiful site, the colors. Pinks, some purples,
maybe hints of red, slight touch of orange.
Between Sunrises and Sunsets, I don't know which
is the prettiest.

Be up early some morning, to watch the sun come up.
If you haven't taken out time to see a sunrise or
sunset, you don't know what you're missing. Come on,
take out time to watch sometime, the beauty that
the Lord has created. Then after you see both of
them, remember to stop and thank our Lord. Thank
him for the wonderous beauty he has created for us.
Yes, thank you, Lord.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
