CHRISTMAS IS!

Christmas is the song that never ends - the gift from our Father God - Christmas is the saving grace for mankind - for a world that did not know which way to turn - Jesus came as the everlasting star, the everlasting light - the darkness has no fellowship with - a candle of hope - a ray of sunshine - a beautiful Savior and Redeemer - who saw our need and came to our rescue -  our heart was crying out - in desperation - for the peace that only He can give - the love He gives is an all encompassing love - that never dies  - or grows weary or tired - Christmas is Jesus in the flesh - our Emmanuel - God with us - more than a holiday - it is a way of life - as we yield and surrender - a heart change - takes place - in this time and in this place - we will see what

Christmas really is!

Christmas is faith in the unseen Hand of God - that manifests in a baby born in Bethlehem - to make a difference - for those who choose the greatest gift ever sent - from heaven’s throne - more precious than rubies, diamonds or any fine jewel - I would rather have Jesus - that all of the world’ s treasures - Christmas is the time of recognizing who Jesus is - what a wonderful Savior, a glorious Counselor - the Mighty God - who humbled himself to become our sacrifice - and stepped out of heaven’s gate - how awesome is my God - who takes me daily down the path of His glory to see - His riches of love, peace and joy - I celebrate the coming of the King of Kings and Lord of Lord - whom none can match - none can compare - Christmas is the life-giving power sent from God’s throne of mercy  and grace - through Jesus -our forever reigning King - our forever reigning Intercessor who stands in our stead - to plead our case - to show the way through His blood to a better way - a more excellent way -

Christmas is calling me His beloved

 I call Him my beloved - I am His and He is mine!

About the Poet
I was born in Lexington County, SC. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years.I recently moved back home to my home town, Columbia, SC. I have one daughter, Kimberly. I now have two brothers. One went to be with the Lord in January, 2010. My Mom went to be with the Lord, Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Among the things I am grateful for and remembering about her is my salvation. She was a strong passionate woman of God all of her life and a beautiful loving Mother. I was saved and baptized in the ocean in Rota, Spain. What an experience that was! Holy Spirit chased me and drew me to Himself, while I was alone in another country. I surrendered to the Lord, and His peace flooded my soul. It was so beautiful. I am so happy he saved me and redeemed me. I am so happy to share these poems from His heart and mine. Poetry is a release and has inspired and encouraged me and many who have read my poetry. I was blessed to write for a number of years on Crossway Publications and had over 300 poems that I wrote on the site. God has increased my gift with more beautiful poetry. In 2005 my poetic writings seemed to catch the fire of God and have a deeper meaning. I thank God for this chance to share my poetry with all. God Bless...
