Same Sex "Marriage"
It is really tragic that five unelected people can "write" a new law for the rest of us. Those five people have no concept of Christianity or the Bible as the Word of God. Christians are in for one court battle after another I believe as secularists attempt to force this new law down our throats. I have no wish to bash homosexuals or their desire to be together. That is between them and God. But marriage is between a man and woman. That has been a constant through the ages in all cultures! Thousands of years! And five people can change that? I think not! Bravo to the men and women who are court clerks who are resisting the law. God bless them. And God have mercy on this nation as it continues its path to moral and spiritual oblivion!June 23, 2015

NOTES
Today has been mostly clear with a high temperature of 90 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and went by the post office. I took a nap with Tony. I sat out with the cats for a few minutes while I fed them their treats. My daughter, Treva, and my son, Ron, came Friday and went home early Sunday afternoon. Saturday we went to Holdenville and met some relatives from Tulsa for lunch and then decorated some relatives graves at Glory Cemetery near Holdenville lake. I never know when I will get back with the Good Things. Thanks for reading.
The cats are fine. None are with me now but I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Tuesday,
Everett.

NOTES
Today has been mostly cloudy with rain showers on different occasions. The rain has stopped for now but we will have rain for the next two days as Tropical Storm Bill makes its way from Texas to our state. High temperature today was 79 degrees. Stephanie and son, Dillon, came around 8:30 and refreshed my house for another week. I had lunch with Charley and our nephew, Denton. I went to the post office and then stopped by Walgreens to check on a prescription. I took a nap with Friendly and Leo today. I think Tony was with us part of the time. I fed the cats their treats inside this evening due to the rain. I want to apologize to Imogene and her step son Dwight. I called him Keith on Sunday nights Good Things. That is one of the assets of getting old is forgetfulness. I cant see as well as I used and forget things but there are still people out there who want me to continue the Good Things. Thanks for everything, notes, prayers and reading the Good Things.
The cats are fine. Emmy is on the back of the recliner chair, Smokey is on a tv tray and Rascal was just here and will be back soon I am sure. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a good Wednesday, Everett.

NOTES
Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 95 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office. I took a nap with Smokey and Tony. At 3:00 p.m. I went to the Grand Avenue Barber Shop and got a haircut. I went by Walgreens to pick up a prescription. At around 6:00 p.m. I sat out with the cats for a few minutes while they had their treats. I will leave three more copies of notes that I have received at the end of the Good Things. I hope I haven't missed anyone's notes. If I have I am sorry. Thanks for the notes and thanks to everyone for reading the Good Things.
The cats are fine. None are with me at present but they have all been around.
Have a nice Thursday, Everett. *********************************************************************************************** Here is a note from Mary Jo in Oregon, my nephew Wayne's wife.
Glad to hear all is well with you. We are all fine. Still working and have a roof over our heads! Thank the Lord for that. We are having a spell of summer, in the 80's today and supposed to be in the 90's tomorrow. Of course it will be hot, the community has dumpsters in so we can have a clean up, it has to be hot!!! Take care and hugs to you and the kitties.
Love, MJ ******************************************************************************************************* From Geneva in Chicago
May God bless you, Everett. I forward your "Good Things" to some.
*************************************************************************************************** From Michelle, in Hollywood, California.
Thank you Everett for the Good Things. I really like how you add cross references for the Bible verses. Things are going okay with me. The usual ups & downs. God is with me, and I can call on Him anytime to help me feel like I'm loved, protected, cared for, watched over and supported. More and more lately, I'm leaning on Him when I have worries. I always tell myself to just TRUST God.
Have a wonderful Tuesday. Blessings to you and your cats. Sasha is doing fine. Michelle
