Love your neighbor; yet don't pull down your hedge. - From Proverbs for Daily Living -
NOTES
Today has been a sunny day in McAlester, Oklahoma, with a high temperature of 66 degrees and a low this morning of 30 degrees. I attended church this morning. We had a wonderful service with singing of Hymns and Songs of Praise. A wonderful message by Pastor J. T. titled "Connecting with the Word." I had lunch at home. I took my afternoon nap with Tony. I put food, treats and water out for the cats at 4:30 p.m. and sat with them for a few minutes. Since last time I have heard from Michelle and Alice. I appreciate your e-mails. Please say a prayer tonight for Alice as she has been very sick today.
The cats are fine. As I sat with them outside this evening, Beau came and sat in my lap for a while. I have seen all of the cats this evening.
Have a Wonderful Monday to start the week!
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett.

NOTES
Today has been a sunny day in McAlester, Oklahoma, with a high temperature of 65 degrees and a low temperature of 43 degrees. My housecleaning lady came at 11:15 a.m and cleaned my house while I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office and then to Memory Gardens. I took a nap this afternoon with Tony. At 3;30 p.m. I went to Walgreen's to pick up a prescription and picked up a hamburger and fries at Braums for my evening meal. I put out treats and food for the cats at 4:30 p.m. I watched the Lawrence Welk program from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The program tonight was from 1976 during the centennial year. It was a program of patriotic songs. The band did an outstanding job on "Stars and Stripes
Forever." Since last time I have heard from Burlene, Gaetano, Alice, Debra and Patti. I always appreciate the e-mails.
The cats are fine. Rascal is in his usual place and I have seen all of them this evening

NOTES
Today has been a sunny day in McAlester, Oklahoma with a high temperature of 57 degrees and a low temperature of 26 degrees. About two years ago a lady by the name of Alice who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, began receiving the Good Things. During the past two years I have had frequent comments from her about how she liked the Good Things. Today Alice and her husband, Bill, came to McAlester and had lunch with me at Taco Bob's. What a blessing that was for me. Bill said they would come back again soon. I also saw Charley, our friend Bill and my pastor at Bob's today. I know that I have made many friends through the Good Things and many of you I will never meet in this life but I look forward to seeing each of you in Heaven someday. What a blessing when someone I have never met gets to come have lunch with me. Since the last Good Things I had e-mails from Alice, Michelle, Margaret, Geneva, Annette and Burlene. It is always a pleasure to receive e-mails.
The cats are fine. Rascal is in the recliner and the others are around somewhere. Some are asleep and some are outside. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Saturday!
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett.

NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny in McAlester, Oklahoma, with a high temperature of 53 degrees and a low temperature of 25 degrees. I saw Charley and Bill at noon. I went to the post office. I took my afternoon nap with Tony. I put treats and food out for the cats at 4:30 p.m. Since last time I have heard from Michelle, Audie(my cousin), Alice, Patti and Tiyan. I am always very pleased to get e-mails. Nothing much happened today so my notes are short. I could give you a mini sermon but I better not.
The cats are fine. I have seen all of them this evening. Emmy is on the desk near me now and just came close and talked a little.
I hope everyone has a nice Friday.

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Live your life so you don't have to hide your diary. - From Reminisce Magazine -
None are so fond of secrets as those who don't mean to keep them. - From Proverbs for Daily Living -
NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny in McAlester, Oklahoma with a high temperature of 47 degrees and a low temperature of 17 degrees. Charley had something going at his church today so Bill and I went our separate ways for lunch. I had lunch at Wendy's because I had a coupon. After lunch I went on to the Petsense store for cat food and then to Walmart for my weekly supply of items. I didn't get down for a nap until 3:00 p.m. so it was a short nap with Tony today. At 4:30 p.m. I put treats outside for the cats and food for cats or other animals that come at night. At 6:00 p.m. I watched a Billy Graham Classic Crusade from Tacoma, Washington, which happened in 1983. Since last time I have heard from Alice, Geneva, Gaetano, Burlene, Tiyan, Sandy and Quentin. The Good Things go out to 57 addresses so I only hear from a small percentage of those who receive them but that is fine as long as you read them. If anyone wants to be dropped from the
Good Things all you have to do is send me an e-mail and request to be dropped and I will certainly understand.
The cats are fine. I have seen all of them this evening. Rascal is in his usual place.
I hope everyone has a nice Thursday!
I will see you next time, In Christian Love, Everett
