NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid seventies. My pastor, J. T. Carnell, had lunch with Charley and me today. I sat outside this evening for over an hour reading, walking around occasionally and watching the cats do various things. Several of the big purple iris are blooming as well as some cream colored iris. Sitting out in the evening is one of the most enjoyable times of the day. Thanks to everyone who sends me e-mails, some encouraging me to keep doing the Good
Things. At this time I plan on continuing the Good Things indefinately and you will just have to look over my errors and mistakes.

The cats are fine. Everyone of them is outside at present. Emmy is my calico cat. She is the mother of Beau and Leo who are a year old this week. Many times I don't remember letting Emmy in at night but she is usually inside when I get up in the morning. I think she must have her own key. It is a mystery to me how I overlook her at night. I go outside sometimes in the morning looking for her and come inside and there she is in a chair asleep.
At 9:55 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 56 degrees. I will see you next time.

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. 19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit. - Romans 8:3-4(New Living Translation).

First of all, let me apologize for this old man's error last night in saying that Happy was in the recliner. It should have read Rascal is in the recliner. I guess I had Happy on my mind. When Happy returns I will give you the news in bold capital letters. I do make errors so I suppose that might be a good reason to discontinue the Good Things. However, I will continue them for the present and say that I am sorry for the error I made last night. Today has been the usual day, lunch with Charles and then to the post office. It was too cool to sit outside this evening so I sat in the recliner here in the den and read for a while.
The cats are fine. Little Girl is on the couch here in the den. Lucy is on the back porch. Itty Bitty and Rascal are both giving me some attention now here in the den. Friendly and Smokey are asleep in different bedrooms. Beau, Emmy and Leo must be outside as I haven't seen them lately.
Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid sixties. At 10:45 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 48 degrees. I will see you next time.

It has rained most of the day in McAlester, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the mid fifties. I attended Sunday School and church this morning. I had lunch at home. I took a nap this aftenoon. At one time this afternoon there were four cats in bed with me. I attended church tonight. One of the songs that we sang tonight was "Heaven Came Down." I will leave that song at the end of the Good Things tonight.
The cats are fine. It is too wet for them to go outside tonight since it has been raining. Happy is in the recliner here in the den and Little Girl is on the back of the couch.
At 9:30 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 47 degrees. Have a Good Day on Monday! I will see you next time.

Today has been a cloudy day and we have had some rain this afternoon and a shower a little while ago. I had lunch by myself at Taco Bob's since Charley had a church activity. It was too wet this evening for me to sit outside so I sat here in my easy chair in the den and read a little.
The cats are fine. It is a little too wet for them to stay out very long tonight. I just let Emmy, Itty Bitty and Leo in the front door. Itty Bitty was scratching on the screen. Little Girl just went outside. Rascal is lying on the floor on the back porch. Beau, Friendly and Smokey are around somewhere as it has not been long since I saw them. It has been three weeks tonight since Happy disappeared.
High temperatures today were in the low sixties. At 9:30 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 58 degrees. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. I will see you next time.
