Wide, Wide Is His Love

Wide, wide is His love...

Jesus loves me, He bore my sins;

To His truth His Spirit does lead me,

Secure is my path, salvation rings!

Jesus speaks, how gentle is His voice!

In my loneliness He is my friend,

My heart sings amid the raging storms.

I’m firm on His Word, true is His love!

Wide, wide is His love...

In my despair His hands hold me;

He is always near, God is good all the time.

My weaknesses Jesus knows all;

Never late is His answer to my prayers!

Today I may lose hope, yet His joy sustains me;

Tomorrow shall be bright, it’s His promise.

Never Jesus rejects me, His loving child I am.

How can the ocean tell all His love?

Always I remember His love at Calvary;

The blood that He shed gives me victory.

Amen! Jesus is my living sacrifice,

Now I live with Him, forever my soul sings.
